This procedure involves removing fine hair using a laser. The lasers target each unwanted hair follicle's roots and destroy the melanin pigment that stimulates hair growth. The main benefit of laser hair removal is the long-term effects and results of this procedure.
If you are planning on undergoing laser hair removal, you should stop plucking, waxing, and electrolysis for 6 weeks prior.
The laser targets hair roots, which are temporarily removed by waxing or plucking. You should also avoid sun exposure for six weeks before and after treatment. Sun exposure makes laser hair removal less effective and make complications are treatment more likely.
Some clients experience a mild pinching or stinging sensation, and some areas may be more sensitive than others depending on the client.
Depending on the area, anywhere from 10 mins – 1hour depending on the area being lasered.
On average 6-8 treatments are required, however this will vary for each individual.
